What to Expect

Before the Shoot

Before your session, we’ll have a relaxed planning chat — either via WhatsApp or a short booking form — so I can get to know you, your dog, and exactly what you’re hoping for.

Whether it’s a fine art portrait, brand or harness promotion, or simply natural photos celebrating your dog’s personality, I’ll tailor the session around your vision.

Together, we’ll choose the perfect location — perhaps a woodland, riverside walk, open field, or private dog-friendly space. The aim is always the same: somewhere your dog feels safe, relaxed, and free to be themselves.

During the Shoot

Each session is calm, fun, and completely led by your dog.

I’ll gently guide both you and your dog into flattering, natural positions that bring out genuine expressions and real connection. Expect a mix of portraits, action shots, and candid moments that capture your dog’s unique character.

If your dog needs to stay on a lead, that’s absolutely fine — safety first. I can remove the lead during editing, and you can decide whether their collar or harness stays on or off for the look you want.#

We’ll move at your dog’s pace, taking breaks when needed, revisiting poses if a moment doesn’t land. It’s more like a relaxed walk with a camera than a formal photoshoot.

After the Shoot

Once your session is complete, I’ll carefully edit every image — enhancing light, colour, and detail while keeping things natural and true to life.

When your gallery is ready, you’ll receive a secure link to view and download your high-resolution, watermark-free photographs.

I’ll highlight a few of my personal favourites that I feel best capture your dog’s spirit, but you’ll have full freedom to choose your own favourites too.

Session Ideas

Depending on your dog’s personality and the location, we might capture:

• Running, jumping, and playing — full of energy and joy

• Close-ups of faces, eyes, paws, and textures of fur

• Quiet, candid moments — sniffing, rolling, or head tilts

• Classic portrait poses — sitting, standing, or “show stack”

• Interactions with nature — logs, leaves, flowers, or water

My Promise to You

Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness always come first.

I won’t push for perfection or stiff poses — instead, I’ll guide you both into natural, expressive positions that feel true to your bond.

Together, we’ll create beautiful, timeless images that capture your dog’s real personality — photographs you’ll treasure for years to come.
